The marionettes show for adults “Cow is love” is like a letter from the creative team to themselves, which considers love as the greatest human achievement. Different relationships are explored: old and young, man and woman, puppeteer and marionette. The viewer will be invited to look into the life of a long-term couple. The man and the woman do not seem happy – they are quick to upset, get angry over trifles, look at each other without admiration, as if they have forgotten to love. But one day they meet a cow…

The theme of the performance also reflects the relationship between the puppeteer and the marionette. This puppet theatre technique, which is rarely found in Lithuania, requires a lot of love, dedication and time. In the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to see different types of marionettes, including fully connected marionettes – the titular marionette type, the most complex form of traditional marionettes. The creative team of the show learned the subtleties of puppetry from master puppeteer Alice Therese Gottschalk.
