We begin to discover the world through encounters—through a glance, a touch, or simply being together. “Spust glust” is a puppet and object theater performance that invites babies into a cozy space inhabited by various little animals. They meet, explore one another, play, gradually form bonds, befriend one another, and love. Together with them, babies take their first steps toward a relationship with their surroundings—one that is warm, safe, and full of closeness.
“The first association, feeling, and memory that comes to mind when thinking about this performance is love. I believe that during the performance, we will share this love, exchange it, and nurture it within ourselves. For me, as a creator, communication is especially important—I love it! I think this performance will stand out for its lively connection with babies and their parents—communication through words, images, and feelings,” shares the show’s director, Renata Kutaitė-Raudonienė.
