This is a story of a little miracle experienced by the present-day Cinderella.
Once upon a time there was an old 1964 five-storey block of flats in a new city district, surrounded by humongous nine-storey buildings. You are about to learn of the events that shook the dwellers of this block-of-flats from a master penwoman, Detective Zofija, nicknamed The Great Z. Miracles happen everywhere all the time but it takes a sharp eye of an eagle, fiery heart of a lionness, honesty of a labrador to notice them.
We invite you to joing the Great Z as we read bits of her latest detective story, try to solve its mysteries, enjoy the illustrations come to life, get mesmerized by music and rejoice in a happy ending.
In this show, Cinderella does not get a visit from her Fairy Godmother, her dad does not bring three magic nuts from a trip, yet that still does not prevent the personality transformation – the girl discovers a suitcase at a bus stop with a dress and shoes her size inside.
This puppet show is for the whole family, not just the children. While the grown-ups can appreciate the text, the little ones, who do not possess a great deal of life experiences, are fascinated by dynamic and smooth actions, masterfully organised by the actress Renata Kutaitė.
